When I was younger, I had a parakeet named Charlie who died of parakeet old-age, and another named Homer who flew into the wild blue yonder while i was moving. But that’s not what this post is about, it’s about Eric Royce Leonard.
When I was really little, I had a couple older friends, one of them was named Wayne and was mentally handicapped, we would play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Mario 2 together, he was a great companion, his brother emigrated from Saudi Arabia because they kill homosexuals in the streets there. But that’s not what this post’s about.
Another family friend I would play Atari and NES with was an awkward teenager named Eric, I hardly remember him but his drawing was hanging in my room while I was a little one.
The above link gives his full back story of Eric’s actions, he’s been on Death Row for almost 18 years. Could you imagine sitting in a little room, knowing that when the time comes some folks could come around, strap you down and off you? It’s barbaric, but these actions bring about many different emotions that defy most people’s peaceful nature. I’m a really kind person, but my life experience makes me want take out a murderer with a crowbar, Joker-style.
So after HighSchool, I moved to the city and lived with some friends in an old victorian. One of my roommates had been bitten by a nasty spider and was bed-ridden, so I would bring my turn tables downstairs now and then and we’d listen to his old punk-rock bootlegs. One night after living together for over a year, we got talking about past jobs. He told me he worked at Round Table Pizza until 1991, until Eric Royce Leonard killed all of his closest friends.
So what do we learn about this? Don’t hurt people.
Other than that, we learn nothing.
